Every Horror Movie You’ve Never Seen (2015)

It’s a very common belief that what we can see is what scares us the most. But what happens when sight is taken away from us? Why is fear still present? Why does a simple thought or sound send shivers down our spines?

Each photo in this series is coupled with an audio sensory experience, to take the narrative to a whole other level. True terror lies is in what we do not know and in what we cannot see. It’s absolutely untrue that what you don’t know cannot hurt you. I’m going to show you your imagination is more powerful than reality.

"I don't know how long I've been down here. But the oxygen is fading, and this is my last match."

"The grass in these fields is so high. It's impossible to know what lurks underneath."

"It wasn't particularly windy that night. That didn't stop the swings from moving on their own."

"Sometimes when I shower, I keep the curtain open. Tonight, I wished I had."

"The elevator door continued to open on every floor. I never pushed a single button."

"I've thrown him away every Thursday, but every Friday he returns."

"I wish when I went down here, I felt like I was alone. But there was always a second set of footsteps."
